Submit a Tip

If your tip concerns a current crime, do not use our tip form, call 911 or a deputy at (580) 482-0408.

Submitting a tip to Jackson County Investigators can be anonymous or you can request to be contacted concerning your tip. All tips are sent to the investigators then reviewed as soon as they can, and investigated when information allows.

Note, that if you are a victim of a crime you need to personally report this to authorities, crime tips are an investigative tool, but crimes involving victims can not result in prosecution without victim statements and interaction with law enforcement. This also applies to an active emergency, please call 911.

In the box above, provide as many details as you can about the incident. The location, vehicle make, model, color, what the individual was wearing, and time of day.

I understand I am giving my contact information to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office and I may be contacted for further information concerning the incident/crime.

It shall be unlawful to willfully, knowingly and without probable cause make a false report to any person of any crime or circumstances indicating the possibility of crime having been committed, including the unlawful taking of personal property, which report causes or encourages the exercise of police action or investigation. Any person convicted of violating the provisions of this subsection shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than ninety (90) days or by a fine of not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), or by both such fine and imprisonment.
