Monthly Report –
During the month of Deputies served a total of court orders to include orders related to subpoenas and entries and detainers. A total of Victim Protective Orders issued by the court were served by Deputies. Additionally, Deputies initiated Sheriff's Sales in which property was sold pursuant to orders of the District Court.
A total of new warrants were issued by the District Court of Jackson County, of those were felony warrants. During the month warrants were served while warrants were recalled by the District Court.
Deputies were responsible for conducting transportation of inmates to and from the court, and to medical facilities as needed. transports were conducted during the month. These numbers do not include inmates attending court in our courtroom at the Sheriff's Office which requires the involvement of a Deputy.
As of the writing of this report, inmates were housed at the Jackson County Jail. Deputies transported inmates across the State of Oklahoma, and Texas traveling a total of miles.
Deputies conducted investigations during the month dealing with crimes covering assault and battery, mental health, unattended deaths, larceny, fraud, animal bites, and driving under the influence.
During alone, calls for service were received by our dispatch center. These calls resulted in Deputies responding to alarm calls, animal calls, fire calls, disturbance and domestic calls, breaking and entering call, as well as numerous others related to traffic accidents, theft, prowlers, welfare checks, and medical calls.
